Siphon is a great new experimental
Firefox add-on that allows you to sync your Firefox add-ons across multiple computers. All it does is record what Firefox add-ons you have installed on each computer and saves it to an account you make during setup. Then, each time you click sync, it goes out and compares what you have installed on that computer versus what is installed on every other computer, and presents you with a list of uninstalled Firefox add-ons with a link to install each one individually. It does not install or sync your add-ons automatically, you must do that yourself, which might be a good thing as it allows you complete control over which add-ons you want on each computer. There are some problems with the links it provides on certain add-ons, but bear in mind
this is an experimental Firefox add-on, so hopefully these problems will be sorted out in the long run. All in all this is a very convenient little app that is very easy to install and use, and is well worth the effort. Download it
